Week 50

Here we go, I am now in the 50's. Two more weeks and then this project is done. I can definitely feel the emotional investment when I look at the map now. The individual buildings might look rough and not that great, but I can't help but be incredibly proud when looking at it in its entirety.

Apropos the map, I finally got the upper left title header thing done. My primary problem was that I couldn't find a font that I liked for the style that I had in my head, but then I found GooFonts.com. It is a website that has given Google Fonts more specific style tags that you can then sort and search with. Incredibly useful tool, both now and for future projects.

This week was all about City Hall. We're talking the city council building, public forums, clerk's offices, a hotel for foreign dignitaries, and a nice little public plaza to round it all off. 

Only two more weeks to go. I seriously can't believe I got this far. Let's do this!
